Privacy Governance
Last updated: March 15, 2026. This document outlines the protocols Xaviraxx employs to safeguard the intellectual and personal data of our South Korean membership. We treat your reading habits with the same rigor we apply to our literary curation.
Personal Information Collection
Our priority is the preservation of your focus. We collect only what is essential for the operation of the Xaviraxx book club. This includes identification data such as your name and email address provided during the membership registration process.
To facilitate curated discussions, we observe your participation in our literary forums and your library selections. This information remains strictly internal, utilized solely to refine our editorial recommendations and ensure the community standards defined in our Editorial Standards are maintained.
Compliance Logic
In accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of South Korea, we maintain a localized data structure. Your data resides on secured servers designed for high-integrity library environments.
The Purpose of Processing
Service Fidelity
We use your data to manage active subscriptions, process payments via secure third-party gateways, and deliver physical book selections to your address in Gangnam-gu or other South Korean districts.
Intellectual Safety
Discussion logs are retained to protect the integrity of the club’s dialogue. We ensure that our premium environment remains a safe space for rigorous intellectual debate, free from unauthorized external solicitation.
Curation Quality
Aggregated, non-identifiable reading patterns help our editors choose titles for The Library. We analyze which genres stimulate the most profound discussions within the club.
Your Legal Prerogative
As a member of Xaviraxx, you possess the absolute right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of your personal data. We facilitate these requests with urgency, ensuring your digital footprint matches your current privacy preferences.
To receive a machine-readable file of your data, please contact our Data Protection Officer at [email protected]. Verification of identity will be required to protect your account.
Upon termination of membership, residual data is purged within 30 days, except where Korean tax law requires commercial record retention (typically 5 years for financial transactions).
Inquiries & Oversight
Formal inquiries regarding our data handling practices or reported vulnerabilities should be directed to our headquarters in Seoul. Our privacy team operates during standard business hours to resolve concerns efficiently.
